Loose Ring Sweet Iron Snaffle Bit with Copper Lozenge

The loose ring cheeks offer a greater range of movement than a fixed cheek which can help to discourage fixing and leaning. A double jointed mouthpiece with copper lozenge helps to distribute pressure evenly over the tongue and bars of the mouth whilst aiding salivation.The Sweet iron develops surface rust through contact with air moisture which taste sweet and naturally stimulates saliva production.The Sweet Iron bit will develop a thin layer of orange/brown rust on the mouthpiece when temporarily not in use. This can be easily removed with a damp cloth.The added benefit of a copper lozenge gives a warm feel in the mouth and reduces the nutcracker effect of this bit.The combination of the Sweet Iron mouthpiece & the Copper Lozenge promotes salivation & acceptance.Nowadays good quality sweet iron bits are safe and well made, combinations of copper and sweet iron.

Sweet Iron will fade with the passage of time. This is entirely normal.
